The story of how we began actually started in 2001 when husband and wife co-founders Russell Hruska, AIA and Rame Hruska, AIA started their architecture practice, Intexure. Seeking a more cohesive process, Intexure became an award winning design-build firm, producing high-end custom homes and integrating the craft of construction alongside design. Understanding the challenges of site-built construction combined with the desire to make good design more attainable led to a decade long quest at developing better ways to build: boxprefab was born.
